INARAFrom an idea to a store ready to sell.
Brand and product presentation, packaging, online store and practical guidance through launch setup.
The project at a glance
- Our contribution
- Brand and product presentation, packaging, online store and practical guidance through launch setup.
- Why it matters
- We helped the founders make the decisions that were theirs and took care of the design and technical implementation around them.
They came to us with an idea.
INARA’s founders needed help turning that idea into a brand and an online business. We worked through product concepts, naming, artwork and packaging with them, supporting their decisions and handling the agreed design work.
We also built the store and helped with the practical setup: the domain, branded email, payment-provider onboarding and shipping-provider onboarding and configuration. The work covered both what customers would see and how the business would start taking orders.
Founders’ decisions
We helped the founders understand the options and make decisions about their brand and products.
Design and packaging
Brand identity, product artwork and packaging developed alongside the store.
Getting ready to sell
Guidance through the accounts, provider setup and store configuration needed for launch.
Dark red, warm materials, quiet confidence.
The identity draws from nature — candlelight against deep reds and raw, warm materials. Logo variations, packaging and a full visual direction were designed to feel premium without shouting.
Palette and treatments shown as illustrative direction from the brand system.
From the packaging to the product page.
The storefront uses the brand’s colours, imagery and typography across browsing, product pages and checkout. Its content is managed through Blubbl, with the original commerce implementation described below.
- Product presentation developed with the brand and packaging.
- Categories, product pages, cart and checkout designed as a connected purchase.
- Layouts adapted for shopping on a phone.
- Stripe payment integration.

Four plugins, custom-built for one store.
Instead of leaning on third-party apps, the MedusaJS core was extended with four custom plugins — reviews, wishlist, abandoned cart and fulfillment. Try them: rate the candle, save it, leave a cart behind and watch the store win it back.
Ember & Fig
€42Interactive demo — illustrative product, price and events; not live store data.
Review plugin
First-party product reviews living inside Medusa — ratings collected, moderated and served without a third-party widget.
- Star ratings & written reviews
- Moderation before publish
- Served from the store’s own API
- No external review service
Wishlist plugin
Customers keep candles for later — wishlists persist across sessions and devices, stored in the store’s own database.
- Save for later, anywhere
- Persists across devices
- Feeds future campaigns
- Owned customer data
Abandoned-cart plugin
Carts left behind aren’t lost — the plugin notices the silence and sends a brand-voiced recovery email to bring the customer back.
- Detects abandoned carts
- Brand-voiced recovery emails
- Deep-links back to the cart
- Owned, not rented, automation
Fulfillment plugin
A custom fulfillment layer wired into Medusa’s order lifecycle — packing, shipping and delivery states handled the way this store actually works.
- Custom order lifecycle
- Warehouse hand-off
- Carrier & tracking states
- Fits the real operation
Headless commerce, engineered end to end.
A modern headless toolset — a Next.js storefront over a MedusaJS commerce core, with NestJS services, a Prisma-managed Postgres and Blubbl for content.
TypeScript front end rendering the premium shopping experience.
The headless commerce core the custom plugins extend.
Structured Node services behind the storefront.
The store’s source of truth, typed end to end.
Blubbl, with content management — the team controls layout and copy.
Checkout and payment flows inside the brand experience.
A disciplined design system for the quiet, premium aesthetic.
Help beyond the website.
The founders had one team to work with across brand decisions, design, development and the practical questions around opening the store.
An idea made concrete

Packaging and storefront
The product presentation carried through from the packaging to the online store.
